Normalize Saying: "I’m not informed enough to have an opinion on the matter."
Hot takes are overrated sometimes
Normalize Saying: "I'm not informed enough to have an opinion on the matter."
In a world where we're constantly bombarded with information it feels like we need to have an opinion on everything. But here’s the truth: it’s okay not to know something.
Saying, "I’m not informed enough to have an opinion on the matter," is not a sign of ignorance but can be a sign of self-awareness, humility, and RESPECT for the complexity of the topic.
Be real:
- Not every topic needs your hot take
- It’s way cooler to learn something quickly than to fake it
- Reduces noise. Too many surface-level talks kill meaningful conversations
The most successful people I’ve met aren’t the ones who talk about everything, they’re the ones who know when to step back and LISTEN.
Let’s normalize pausing, reflecting, and owning our knowledge gaps. Because being a leader or an expert isn’t about knowing everything, it’s about knowing enough to know when you need to LEARN more.
What’s your take? Have you ever been in a situation where saying, "I don’t know," was more powerful than pretending you did?
Best,
Anastasiia
